Questions from builders

Do you take homeowner re-roofs?

No. We roof for builders, developers and building owners on new construction and bid-package work.

How do I get on your schedule?

Send the release through the bid form. Your scheduler holds crew days and confirms them against your framing dates.

What do you need to bid?

Roof plans and elevations, the number of lots, the shingle or membrane spec, and your start window.

Can you bid by plan, not by lot?

Yes. Repeat plans are priced once and applied to each lot in a release.

What happens when it rains?

The foreman calls your super the same morning. We dry in first, and we don't shingle a wet deck.

Can you roof in winter?

Yes, with limits. Below 40°F we hand-seal shingles or hold the lot and say which.

Who pulls the permit?

It's set in your subcontract. Most builders hold the permit and call the roof inspection; we're on the lot for it.

Can you send a certificate of insurance?

Yes, on request, with your company named as certificate holder.

Are your roofers employees?

Roofers on your lots work on our payroll and under our workers' compensation policy.

What does workmanship coverage include?

Leaks and defects from our installation, for the term written in the bid. The warranty lists the exclusions.

Who do I call about a leak after closing?

Your warranty rep logs it on the callbacks page or by phone, and production sets a visit window.

Still have a question?

Call the office or send a release and ask in the notes.
